WHO ARE DENHOLM BARWIL LIMITED?

Denholm Barwil Ltd is a subsidiary of Denholm Logistics Limited, part of the J & J Denholm Group of companies. The Denholm Group dates back to the 19th century, with the port agency opening in Greenock in 1866.

More recently, during the 1980s, UK coverage was developed to include all the main shipping ports until, during the 1990's port marine services evolved into a truly national concern.

2003 saw the acquisition of Bahr Behrend, a strategic move to expand the portfolio of logistical services within the Denholm Group.

In 2004, the global group Barwil acquired a 40% share in Denholm Shipping Services to create Denholm Barwil Limited, offering comprehensive port marine services within the international marketplace.
